Our mission

Hello and welcome to DarwinMail. I built DarwinMail because I was tired of wasting so much time managing my emails (which are also often my to-do's) on a daily basis.

I'd check my emails 30+ times, every day. It was demanding & nerve-racking. I knew there had to be a better way. I wanted email to work for me, instead of the other way around. DarwinMail is the result of this need.

The AHA moment

I barely even had a chance to put together some of the core features and still, I was receiving such constructive feedback and positive encouragement.

I knew I was on to something.

I worked day & night, weekends, during dinner & breakfast for months. I focused my efforts on the core functionality & the design while paying close attention to how I wanted the user to feel when using DarwinMail.. happy!

I want users to feel a sense of joy and relief when using DarwinMail.

I launched DarwinMail 8 months later on Product Hunt (April 20th, 2019). This was a big day for DarwinMail. The response was phenomenal.

Many words of encouragement were received on that day and the days that followed. Suggestions were made, bugs were reported and features were requested. All of which, I added to our public roadmap.
